Are the tours suitable for everyone from 0 to 99 years old?
Generally, yes.
However, our tours are not suitable for children under the age of 10, people with claustrophobia or people with limited mobility. Due to the sometimes uneven terrain (outdoors, old buildings, stairs, etc.), there is a risk of tripping and injury.
Our tours take place in a busy city. We therefore exclude all liability for property damage and personal injury during regular tour operations.
Are all tours walking tours?
Generally, yes. However, we can make other arrangements individually. In that case, please contact us when booking. Should a minivan or bus be required for a tour, we will organise this for you.
How much does a tour cost?
Please refer to the respective tour descriptions for prices.
How can I cancel a tour?
Please click the cancellation link in your confirmation email and complete our online cancellation form. Your refund (minus any applicable cancellation fees, see below) will be credited to your registered account within 30 days.
Our cancellation fees:
Up to 10 days before the tour: free of charge
10 – 3 days before the tour: 50% of the tour price
3 – 0 days before the tour: 100% of the tour price
How long does a tour take?
Approximately 1.5 – 2.5 hours; please see the respective tour descriptions for details.
What do I need to bring – ID, cash, tickets?
ID & cash: Yes.
We recommend bringing approximately € 20 in coins for restroom use, vending machines, tips, etc.
Tickets: No.
We will organise all necessary tickets for your tour.
Where does the tour begin and end?
Please refer to the respective tour descriptions to see where we’ll meet and say goodbye.
What's the size of a group?
5 – 20 people.
In which language are the tours guided?
In Viennese dialect 😉
For other languages such as German, English, Spanish, French or Italian, please refer to the respective tour descriptions.
Is there a voice system?
Of course. We want you to hear EVERYTHING! We always provide a voice system and sterile headphones.
Are refreshments included in the price?
No. We are happy to arrange refreshments for private tours upon request.
What happens in bad weather?
In Vienna, the sun is almost always shining. Nevertheless, we’ll guide you in all weather conditions. Only in cases of imminent danger, heavy rain or storms would it be best for all of us to stay at home. In this rare, unlikely, theoretical case, we will contact you two hours before the tour starts. And of course, we will refund your tour price.
Will I get an umbrella in bad weather?
For safety reasons, we offer free disposable ponchos – yes, they look a bit odd, but they’re great.
Are there any special culinary tours?
Yes, but they’re still cooking …
Where do the Viennese eat Viennese cuisine?
Everyone somewhere else. Please ask your guide for personal recommendations away from the tourist traps.
Can I book a tour just for myself or for two people only? Or on a different date?
We cannot guarantee exclusive group sizes or dates for our scheduled tours. For such a request, we recommend booking a private tour.
